The design fully complies with BS EN124 standards, specifically Load Class D400, making it suitable or installation in roadways and
areas subject to heavy vehicular traffic up to 40 tons.

The unit features a rectangular frame and cover configuration with machine-finished bearing surfaces to ensure a precise and secure fit, reducing movement and wear under load. It offers a clear opening of 600 x 450 mm, with an overall base dimension of 770 x 620 mm and a depth of 100 mm, designed for robust, long-term structural performance.
To enhance functionality and reliability, the cover incorporates several key features:
• A register for proper alignment and improved seating stability.
• Dual closed keyholes, which provide secure access while preventing debris and water intrusion, and allow for safer, tool-compatible lifting and handling.

For corrosion protection, the manhole cover is factory-finished with Coal Tar Epoxy coating as standard, offering excellent resistance to chemicals, moisture, and environmental degradation. An optional Black Bitumen coating is available for less demanding environments.

Each cover includes a permanent cast-in inscription indicating the manufacturer’s name, production batch number, load class, applicable standard, country of origin, and project name if specified. This ensures full traceability, facilitates asset management, and guarantees compliance with project and municipal authority requirements.
