The product is made of heavy-duty grey cast iron, produced in compliance with ASTM A48 material standards, ensuring strength, durability, and long service life.

The design conforms to BS EN 124 standards for manhole and handhole covers. It consists of a straight bar grey cast iron channel grate with a mild steel (MS) angle frame, engineered with machine-finished bearing surfaces to ensure precise fit and stability. The product dimensions include a clear opening of 97 mm, an overall base of 217 mm, and a depth of 60 mm. The grate length is 750
mm, with a width of 200 mm and a grate depth of 54 mm. The MS angle frame measures 60 x 60 x 6 mm. The grate is also provided with holes for anchor bolts to ensure secure installation and reliable performance.

The product has been tested and certified to withstand a 40-ton load capacity (D 400 class), making it suitable for heavy-duty applications such as roads and high-traffic areas.

For protection against corrosion and environmental exposure, the product is coated with black coaltar epoxy as standard, with black bitumen available as an optional protective coating.

Each grate is permanently inscribed with the manufacturer’s name, production batch number, load class, applicable standard, country of origin, and project name (if specified). This ensures full traceability, compliance verification, and easy identification.
