The product is made of grey cast iron with a hinged Kerb box grate and curb inlet frame in full compliance with ASTM A48 material standards, ensuring durability, strength, and long service life.
The design conforms to BS EN 124 standards for manhole and handhole covers. It consists of a grey cast iron hinged Kerb box grate with a curb inlet frame, incorporating machine-finished bearing surfaces to provide precise seating, stability, and operational reliability. The product dimensions include a clear opening of 600 × 530 mm, an overall base of 750 × 750 mm, and a depth of 150 mm. It has been tested and certified to withstand a 25-ton load capacity (B 250 class), making it suitable for medium-duty
applications such as road Krebs and drainage systems.
The grate is designed with a length of 75 mm and includes holes for anchor bolts, ensuring secure installation and dependable performance. For protection against corrosion and environmental exposure, the product is finished with a two-layer black coaltar epoxy coating (70% epoxy & 30% coaltar) with a total thickness of 250 µ, providing long-lasting durability.
Each unit is permanently inscribed with the manufacturer’s name, production batch number, load class, applicable standard, country of origin, and project name (if specified), ensuring full traceability, compliance verification, and proper identification.
