The product is made of heavy-duty grey cast iron with a channel grate and mild steel angle frame in full compliance with ASTM A48 material standards, ensuring durability, strength, and long service life.

The design conforms to BS EN 124 standards for manhole and handhole covers. It consists of a straight bars grey cast iron channel grate with a mild steel angle frame, incorporating machine-finished bearing surfaces to provide precise seating, stability, and operational reliability. The product dimensions include a clear opening of 150 mm, an overall base of 270 mm, and a depth of 60 mm. It has been tested and certified to withstand a 40-ton load capacity (D 400 class), making it suitable for heavy-duty applications such as main roads, highways, and industrial areas.

The grate assembly features a length of 750 mm, a width of 250 mm, a depth of 54 mm, and a mild steel angle frame of 60 × 60 × 6 mm. For protection against corrosion and environmental exposure, the frame is finished with a black coaltar epoxy coating, providing long-lasting durability.

Each unit is permanently inscribed with the manufacturer’s name, production batch number, load class, applicable standard, country of origin, and project name (if specified), ensuring full traceability, compliance verification, and proper identification.
