The MC 441 DI (HD)150 Heavy-Duty Ductile Iron Grate and Frame is manufactured in accordance with ASTM A536 material standards and complies with the BS EN 124 design requirements for manhole and handhole covers.

The product features a circular ductile iron grate and frame assembly with a slotted grate pattern to facilitate efficient water drainage. The grate is seated within a recessed circular frame supported by a robust rim, and the frame is equipped with foundation holes to ensure secure installation. It has a clear opening of 600 mm Ø, an overall base diameter of 740 mm Ø, and a depth of 150 mm, engineered to withstand loads of up to 40 tons.

For enhanced corrosion resistance and durability, the assembly is coated with coaltar epoxy. Each grate carries a permanent cast-in inscription indicating the manufacturer’s name, production batch number, load class, applicable standard, and country of origin, ensuring full identification and traceability.
